Laura Cathcart has established herself as one of the country's top Society milliners with her timeless collections, handmade in England.  In a Royal Ascot article on leading British milliners, Harper's Bazaar listed Laura Cathcart Millinery as Number 1.

She is a member of the British Hat Guild.

Laura offers both a bespoke and ready-to-wear service for Weddings, Mother of the Bride and Groom, Race Meetings, Christenings and other special occasions.

Brought up in Norfolk from a racing family, Laura has her studio in a converted Coach House near Bridgnorth, Shropshire which she shares with her two pugs.

Laura trained at the London College of Fashion and further developed her eye for beautiful fabrics and unique designs during her time as an interior designer with Colefax & Fowler in London. After learning her craft working for milliner Gina Foster, Laura set up her own boutique in 2011.

In 2018, specially commissioned hats were worn by members of the Romanov family in St Petersburg for the 100th anniversary memorial of the death of the last Tsar.

In 2017 Laura was chosen as official milliner for Royal Ascot as part of the Royal Ascot Millinery Collective

Laura works leading fashion brands and designers including Emilia Wickstead, Eponine, Amanda Wakeley, Beulah and Grace Wales Bonner

Laura collaborates with luxury brands and festivals to create distinctive and unique pieces for shop windows, race meetings and special corporate events including Veuve Clicquot, Charbonnel et Walker and Fortnum & Mason.

Laura appears on television and radio as a fashion stylist and commentator, her clients include well-known individuals from the worlds of royalty, film, theatre, racing, business, society and fashion.

Laura's brand ambassadors are the English actresses Georgina Rylance and Charlotte Radford, Georgina’s last film was with Brad Pitt and Charlotte's latest project with Al Pacino.

Laura’s hats have appeared in television dramas including those worn by Elizabeth Hurley in The Royals
